1951 RAC Rally Rest and Be Thankful. The Newton Sisters. Jaguar XK120 Anne Newton and her sister Mary, known at the time as the "mad Newton sisters" surprised many by coming in 7th and winning the ladies prize in this rally. Anne, under her married name, Anne Hall, became one of the most successful lady rally drivers of the 50s and 60s. |
